Old Mission and Leelanau Get New Winery and Distillery

As reported in the Traverse City News, Hawthorne Vineyard will open on the Old Mission Peninsula this summer. Hawthorne Vineyard will be planted with 26 acres of vinifera. Brian Hosmer from Chateau Chantal will be the winemaker. Also, the new Northern Latitudes Distillery has been approved by Leland Township.
