Sip of Michigan Helps First Step

Drink Michigan, an organization founded by Audrey Walker and Trisha Verma to promote Michigan wine and spirits, held its third annual Sip of Michigan on July 13th.  The event was held again at the Rattlesnake Club in downtown Detroit and drew over 400 people.  An extensive food spread helped party-goers work their way through over 40 different tables of Michigan wine, mead, spirits, and beer. This year’s Sip of Michigan helped support Wayne County’s anti-domestic/sexual abuse organization, First Step.  The event, and dinner fundraiser prior to event, raised a combined total of $20K for the charity.
