Owen Valley: Indiana’s First Solar Powered Winery

From the Indiana Wine Grape Council comes news that Owen Valley Winery in Spencer, Indiana will be Indiana’s first winery to run primarily on solar power. Owen Valley’s Solar system will generate about 12,000 Kwh per year. (The average U.S. home consumes about 11,000 KWh of electricity annually.)
