New Minnesota Wine Tour Company Knits the Road

GetKnit has put together the newest Midwest wine event with their St. Croix River Valley Wine Tour which kicked off on Sunday, April 7.  At $65 per person, the day trip (10:30am-5:30pm) includes a scenic tour of St. Croix Vineyards, Northern Vineyards, and Chateau St. Croix Winery and Vineyard with the tasting of 15 different wines.  The cost also covers a pasta and salad lunch at Luna Rossa Wine Bar in the heart of Stillwater.

GetKnit focuses on all things local and its young and enthusiastic staff of GetKnit Gurus keeps everyone social.  While young, twenty-something couples made up the bulk of their first tour group, the staff has event planning experience with a wide-variety of groups.  Transportation by luxury charter bus keeps the tour group on schedule and in comfort during the longer stretches of travel between wineries.  Fortunately for the passengers, wine purchased at the wineries is allowed to be consumed on the bus which on the first tour encouraged many to open their wallets at each stop.
