Lori Paulsen New Exec Dir at NWGGA

The Nebraska Winery and Grape Growers Association (NWGGA) is pleased to announce that Lori Paulsen has recently taken over the Executive Director position for the 90 member non-profit association representing Nebraska wineries, vineyards and grape growers.

Paulsen, a veteran in the nonprofit sector, holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has a strong communications, management, grant writing and marketing background along with experience with the Nebraska Soybean Board and the national Popcorn Board.

Her main responsibilities will be implementing directives from the board of directors and the day to day management of the association.  She’ll serve as the main public contact and spokesperson for the industry and will represent members and their interests.

In addition, the new NWGGA web site, nebraskawines.com, was recently launched and features a new look and feel, easier navigation and great ways for consumers to locate local tasting rooms and wineries to better enjoy Nebraska wines.

‘We’re excited to have Lori and her talents as a part of the NWGGA.  As the Nebraska wine industry continues to grow and flourish, we look forward to building upon our past success and embracing new opportunities to promote Nebraska wines.  The new Nebraskawines.com web site is a great way for consumers and members to learn more about our organization and find ways to enjoy our products,” stated Stefan Kegley, Owner of the George Spencer Tasting Room in Gibbon, Nebraska, as well as the current NWGGA President.
