Changes Planned for 2013 Vintage Ohio

The Ohio Wine Producers Association (OWPA) announced in a January email to members that a “Premier” ticket will sold for the annual 2013 Vintage Ohio Wine Festival which will be August 2nd and 3rd in Kirtland, Ohio.

The new ticket is to “accommodate consumers concerned about the shortage of ‘premium’ wines poured on Festival Field.”   According to the OWPA,  the premium admission will be priced at about $60 per person and will include a ticket to a Preview Party where winemakers will be on hand to pour 2-3 of their Ohio Quality Wine certified gold and silver Ohio grown vinifera/hybrids.

How much is a one day pass? are there any other changes? Do we still get the card to fill up for the samples? Is the samples still the same amount?
