Mid-America Wine Contest Winnners
The results of the 2012 Mid-America Wine Competition have been released. The 2012 Mid-American Wine Competition was held July 13-15, 2012, in Iowa and focused only on the wines of the Midwest. The competition is open only to commercial wineries of Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
The Mid-America Competition is the first competition in the U.S. to where wines are judged in conjunction with carefully selected food dishes.
