Spotted Dog Winery in Saline, Michigan near Ann Arbor is closing after 12 years according to The Saline Reporter.
Winery owner John Olson used local grapes in some of his wines. He was an early adopter of the urban winery concept (no vineyard) and the use of animals (Dalmatians) on wine labels.
