Wine Riot Chicago 2013

Wine Riot Chicago 2013 brought together 150 wineries from around the world with over 250 bottles being poured throughout the two-day/three session event. Two Midwestern wineries were present and pouring, Lynfred Winery from suburban Chicago and St. James Winery from St. James Missouri. While St. James poured mostly fruit wines, ranging from peach to blackberry, they also had an off-dry Riesling with grapes sourced from Washington that was a favorite amongst Rioters. Lynfred poured an impressive selection of six wines, with two whites, two reds, a rose, and a delicately spiced cherry wine.
