IGGVA Seeking New Executive Director

The Illinois Grape Growers & Vintners Association is seeking a full time Executive Director. The Association is governed by a 12-member Statewide Board of Directors. The Executive Director maintains an active and continuous communication and consultation with the Board of Directors; directs and supervises the activities of the administrative staff; oversees the planning and execution of Board meetings, retreats and committee meetings; develops an annual work plan and operating budget, which upon consensus of the Board submit to grant funding agencies; travels frequently to meet with grape and wine industry members throughout Illinois and to execute programs and festivals, develop support and maintain cohesiveness of the industry; serves as the Illinois grape and wine industry’s lobbyist.
