How Climate Change is Affecting Michigan Farming
From Gannett’s The Times Herald comes a well researched story on how changes in climate are affecting farmers. Variability of temperatures and precipitation is increasing and the results are mixed for fruit growers. (You’d think someone would measure the standard deviation of regional temperatures over a long enough period to be statistically significant. It seems that more and more, temperatures on any given day are way above or below “average.”)
