Midwest Grape and Wine Industry Institute Adds New Senior Staff

As announced in the most recent “Wine Grower News,” The Midwest Grape & Wine Industry Institute at Iowa State University hired Dr. Stephanie Grove to work on program that will offer wineries testing services. Dr. Groves received her Ph.D from Michigan Technical University in Houghton, Michigan.
The Midwest Grape and Wine Industry Institute was approved by the Iowa Board of Regents in September 2006. The Institute is the first of its kind in Iowa and is a result of the state’s evolving grape & wine industry. Dr. Murli Dharmadhikari, ISU Extension enologist who was hired in 2005, is director of the Institute.
