The Fulton Sun reports that Summit Lake Winery in Holts Summit, Missouri closed its doors for business this Sunday. The winery closure was an indirect result of the FDIC assuming the assets of Premier Bank which held the note on the property. However, Summit Lake owners also told the Sun that very hot weather this summer had reduced tasting room income.
