The 2012 Uncork the Uplands wine and food festival was held at Huber Winery on July 21st, 2012. Uncork the Uplands featured wines and foods cultivated exclusively from the south-central region of Indiana known as the Uplands Wine Region. Guests enjoyed a culinary presentation by Daniel Orr, the internationally renowned chef and creator/proprietor of FARMbloomington in Bloomington, Indiana.
A portion of the event proceeds went towards Ivy Tech of Southern Indiana’s Viticulture Enology Science & Technology Alliance (VESTA) and TheFARM Fund raising future culinarians at Ivy Tech in Bloomington, Indiana
Guests at the 2012 Uncork the Uplands visit Oliver Winery’s tasting table and find that hospitality director, Paul Mui (L) and winemaker Dennis Dunham (R) were the ones pouring samples and answering questions.
