Wisconsin Wine Competition Results
Danzinger Vineyards was awarded Best of Show for their Mississippi Mist at the 2012 Wisconsin State Fair Professional Wine Competition held on Thursday, June 21 at the Wisconsin State Fair Exposition Center in West Allis. The competition evaluated 140 wines from 25 Wisconsin wineries.
Best of Show: Danzinger Vineyards Mississippi Mist (100% LaCrescent)
Best of Class Red: River Bend Vineyard & Winery Sunset (80% Concord, 20% Seyval)
Best of Class Blush/Rose: Wollersheim Winery Blushing Rose (93% Seyval, 7% Marechal Foch)
Best of Class White: Danzinger Vineyards Mississippi Mist (100% LaCrescent)
Best of Class Dessert: DNA Vintners Chocolate Paradise (82% Cranberry, 18% raisin wine infused with chocolate)
Best of Class Non-Grape: Door Peninsula Winery Cranberry Wine(100% Cranberry)
Best of Class Grape/Non-Grape Blends: DNA Vintners Chocolate Paradise (82% Cranberry, 18% raisin wine infused with chocolate)
Best of Class 100% Wisconsin: Wollersheim Winery Eagle White (50% St. Pepin, 50% LaCrosse)
