Wine Consumption Up 2.5% in 2011
The Beverage Information Group’s 2012 Handbook showed Vodka consumption with the greatest increase for 2011, up 6%. Domestic beer consumption must be falling like a Rolling Rock because consumption increases in craft and import beers could not keep the overall beer segment from being down 1.5% in 2011. Wine consumption increased for the 18th consecutive year, up 2.5% in 2011.
