Wisconsin’s Vetro Expands
Vetro Winery celebrated its new facility in Jefferson, Wisconsin with a grand opening Nov. 12-19 according to a recent article in the Wisconsin State Journal.
The winery was founded by LaVerne and Bill Vetrano in 2002 in Concord, along Interstate 94 between Johnson Creek and Oconomowoc, just west of Milwaukee.
Grapes for the winery’s 16 wines will continue to be grown in Concord but the new 6,000-square-foot store, tasting room and production facility is now located at 1414 Vino Lane on Jefferson’s east side in the 174-acre Sanctuary Ridge commercial and housing development. The property is on the former grounds of St. Coletta, which provides vocational and residential programs for people with disabilities.
