On June 21st, Kansas City Public Television’s ” The Local Show” will devote a program to Missouri wine featuring Danny Wood, Midwest Wine Press contributor and author of the Regional Wine Taster blog. The program will explore the controversy Wood created with his “Wine Lists of Shame: The Top KC Restaurants that Serve No Local Wines” blog post this past January. The program will also include a blind tasting of Missouri wines by KC celebrities. The tasting will be hosted by nationally respected wine expert Doug Frost who lives in KC also. Mark Ganchiff is the publisher of Midwest Wine Press, the leading source of news on the growing wine industry in the central United States.
